You never know what to expect when you book a cabin, could be a shed, shack, sometimes questionable at best. Abbs Inn in Gilbert WV has some of the nicest rooms, we stayed in #1 , King bed , double shower, fridge , micro. Clean linen and towels . Cool little private spot out back for a little fire and a grill for burgers. Rock house trail is right up the road, although the trail head is in Man WV about 20 minutes by car/truck. Thanks Abbs , for great weekend!!
Room was clean and had what we needed for the week. Great location close to food, gas and the car wash. Good parking for a truck and trailer. Great place for trail riders to stay.
Very clean and quiet! We were hesitant and not expecting great things but so glad this was the one we booked. Bed frames squeaked and pillows were pretty flat but the linens were amazing. Plenty of towels and coffee. We would stay there again if back in the area.
We stayed at Ann’s this week while 4 wheeling with Mountain Top Adventures. The stay was nice and we truly enjoyed our visit to Gilbert! We will be back!
Stayed here for about 4 months straight, checking in on Monday and out on Friday throughout one winter while working in the area. We usually rented at least four if not all five rooms while there and couldn’t have been happier. The rooms were always clean when we arrived and the beds were great. Had a grill and fire pit out back to relax and hang out by and just made having to be away from home a lot easier. However, it was with the previous owners, it doesn’t seem much has changed and I will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!
I loved it here, the lodge is in great shape. The rooms are always clean and quaint. Some would say that it's a home away from home. The staff are really friendly and will gladly sit down with you and chat. My family and I will be staying here again!
Owners are very friendly we felt right at home and the room was clean and perfect. My husband and I absolutely loved it there and can't wait to come back. The car wash and everything nearby was also very nice too
This place is amazing. It's close to Mountaintop Adventures and the room was clean and well stocked. The shower was the best part...full water pressure and HOT. Couldn't recommend more.
